In 
June, George arrived at our shelter in a rough condition and unfortunately, his owner never came to claim him. We took him to the vet, started him on thyroid medication, and gave him medicated baths three times a week. As time went on, George began to gain weight and his fur started growing back beautifully.
During this time, a wonderful woman fell in love with George and started visiting him and his furry friends every week. Eventually, she decided to fully adopt him and today, after 168 days, George has found his forever home! His new mom even made him a special badge for his harness. We are so proud of finding the perfect home for our animals, even if it takes time and effort. Congratulations to George and his new mom, Mekaela! We will miss seeing your big, happy face around here, but we wish you all the best in your new life together.
