The HSO is seeking community-minded individuals looking to make a lasting impact in Crook County and Prineville. HSO needs your help connecting with the community and engaging them to participate in moving the capital campaign forward for the desperately needed new facility. We are looking to assemble two committees to make this a small, manageable, and meaningful commitment by our valued volunteer members!
If you love helping the community where you live and work, want to help people and their pets, are business savvy, and are more of an extravert than an introvert, than we have the committee for you! If this is you, please visit the Fundraising and Outreach Committee information.
If you have a mind for numbers, are comfortable working within a team and expressing professional opinions based on your knowledge and skills, love animals, and want to contribute to your community, than the Finance and Budget Committee might be for you!
Both have an anticipated time estimate of 5-15 hours per month which is flexible based on your interest and availability to help.
Below is a working copy of volunteer committee member expectations and application (at bottom of this page). If you’re interested, please apply today! Construction is slated to begin in Spring 2024 and there is no time to waste.
